Niels and I have shared over 33 years together, and in addition to our dogs, we have several grown kids and a lovely bunch of grandkids.
While I have always been around dogs, Niels had never owned one until we welcomed our first Bichon Frisé into our lives in 1999. Initially hesitant, now he can't imagine life without them.
My Coton operates as a small kennel with just a few dogs.
Our furry companions are cherished members of our family, and they stay with us throughout their lives, even after they retire.
In 2019, I completed the Breeder Course at the Danish Kennel Club (DKK) and promptly acquired my kennel name, My Coton.
In 2022, I launched a small Grooming Studio offering trimming and grooming services for small companion dogs.
Aside from our deep affection for these dogs as family, my top priority is breeding healthy and true-to-type Cotons.

In 2003, I encountered a young boy outside a store, looking after his puppy while waiting for his mom. The puppy was incredibly charming, and I couldn't resist asking the boy about its breed. To my surprise, he confidently replied, "it's a Coton de Tulear," impressing me with both his knowledge and pronunciation skills.
From that moment on, I knew that the Coton de Tulear would be the next addition to our furry family. Back then, we already had Bichon Frisé in our household. As the years went by, the year 2017 arrived, bringing with it the decision of whether to expand our dog family or not.
The choice was straightforward; we were certain of the breed we desired and had a connection with a reputable breeder known for producing exceptional Cotons.
Our first Coton, a male named Coton CPH's Jabali Strong As A Rock, affectionately called Jabbi, joined our family. Soon after, Coton CPH's Luigi King of Diamonds, known as Iggy, and Coton CPH's New Sparkling Edition, lovingly referred to as Sparkey, also became cherished members of our household. Over time, more of these beautiful Cotons have graced our home with their presence.
In June 2018, Jabbi fell severely ill due to an autoimmune disease that led his immune system to mistakenly attack his own body. While the immune system's usual role is to protect the body against harmful germs, in this case, it turned against Jabbi. Despite the immune system's efforts to fight off the perceived threat, Jabbi succumbed to the illness after a grueling five days of suffering.
His memory will forever remain cherished in our hearts, a soul gone too soon but never forgotten.
Rest in peace, dear Jabali, your spirit lives on in our thoughts and memories.
